About this Blog
Hi! My name is Kate Craven, and I teach Computers and Writing at Ashford School, which is in Northeastern Connecticut. I've been spending part of my summer on the Romantic Road and Fairy Tale Trail, and wanted to invite you to join me in my quest to learn more about Fairy Tales!
The goals of my fellowship are as follows:
1: Understand the relationship that landscape and culture have on the Brothers Grimm Fairy Tales and how Fairy Tales come to life in their native settings.
2: Create a variety of digital Fairy Tales for students.
3: Push my comfort zone and become a teacher-writer while on the trail by creating my own Fairy Tales, which is what I ask my students to do every day.
